How To Rework Your Old Articles

Coming up with new ideas writing about your business can be difficult especially if you are targeting an unusual or popular niche. As in a lot of cases just about everything under the sun has been written about it.

Take fitness and health for example. These are two of the most written about subjects on the internet. So does this stop people writing about these subjects, of course not. You just have to know how to ensure that your article is reworked correctly.

So how do I go about this?

The easy way is to take an article and move around the sentences/paragraphs. A much better way is to completely re write the article which would be seen by the search engines as brand new content. We all write differently so our own style of writing or thinking would naturally come over as a brand new piping hot article.

I personally use the re write as my main tactic and have been getting some serious organic traffic to my website as a result.

Here’s are some handy how to tips to achieve this!

Always change the heading. Just like in your website header the H1 tag is important, so in your article the first thing the search engines see is your Heading. Make sure you put your keyword/keywords in the header.

Eg. Old Heading “Free Traffic Exchange”

New Heading “Free Targeted Traffic Exchange

Using someone else’s article is ok provided you change at least 30% to ensure it is seen by the search engines as fresh content. Remember if you do not change the article then you must ensure the author’s sig file is attached to it.

A Simply search in the main search engines or article directories for you topic, will turn up a huge amount of articles that you can use to help you in your article marketing campaign. If you find a well written article then why not just expand it to contain your unique twist on the subject.

Article Writing Made Easy

Writing articles is a great way to establish yourself as an expert
in a particular niche. It’s also a great way to get more traffic to
your site while also creating back links to your site. But many
people have trouble writing articles. Well, here’s article writing
made easy.

Obviously the first thing you need to do is decide on a topic to
write about. Often the topic can make or break an article. Not only
do you want the topic to be interesting but you also want the topic
to be broad enough to provide good information but specific enough
so that you don’t try to tackle too much information in one article.

Once you have a topic in mind, the next thing you need to do in
order to write the article is to decide what you want to say. A
good rule of thumb is to always have three things you want to say
or teach. This is based on the three prong thesis, which you might
remember from your school days. Once you have your topic and your
three things you want to say then you’re ready to begin writing
your article.

Article writing made easy requires you to have an introduction
paragraph, a paragraph for each thing you want to say (three
total), and a conclusion paragraph. So you’re article will usually
be 5 paragraphs in all.

In the introduction you will begin with a broad statement about the
topic of the article. If possible you want to have a hook –
something that will bring the reader in and cause him/her to keep
reading. Then you want to follow-up on the first sentence. Next you
tell the reader what they’re going to read about. You can include
the 3 things you will tell them in the last sentence of the
introduction.

The body of your article will include a paragraph for each thing
you’re telling them. It’s just that easy to write the main part of
the article. Just follow the three pieces of information and write
about each of them in 3-6 sentences.

The conclusion will just sum-up the entire article. Remind the
reader about what they’ve just read. And then you’ll be finished
writing your article.

Now you see how article writing can be made easy. The most work is
deciding on a suitable topic and then choosing three quality pieces
of information you want to include. Once you do that – and as long
as you do it well – then the article will pretty much write itself.
